Circa 1945 Marshall Utility motor roller. 6-8 tons. Clutches and gearbox in operational condition. Vehicle generally sound with excellent wooden canopy. Was originally fitted with a Ford V8 petrol engine, but this was changed during its working life for a Fordson 4D diesel engine which has an unusual clockwork starter and is in good condition. Radiator leaky and roller stuck in high gear with standing and lack of use.
Currently stored under cover. Price £1500 for an unusual and very restorable machine. Reluctant sale.

Built circa. 1928. It's history up to 1975 is sketchy, but since then it has always been well maintained and kept in working condition at a local cricket club. The Cricket Club are not a profit making organisation but need to finance a more modern and heavier roller through this sale, and their wish is that the Roller is preserved.
